"It wasn’t what I expected but it’s ok. "

"This is a beautiful resort, but unfortunately the customer service experience was extremely disappointing. Due to one of our travelers being hospitalized, we needed a modification to our reservation booked through Expedia. While staying at the resort, 2 staff members assured us the matter would be resolved, but after multiple follow-ups, emails went unanswered and promised callbacks never happened. Even after providing hospital documentation, neither Expedia nor I received any meaningful response. To make matters worse, staff members later refused to provide their names when contacted by phone, and multiple assurances of follow-up were never honored. Guests spend a significant amount of money to vacation at a resort like this, and in situations involving medical emergencies, customers deserve professionalism, communication, and compassion. The complete lack of accountability and disregard for communication throughout this process was unacceptable. Because of this experience, I would not recommend this resort and will not be returning. I would strongly encourage future patrons to consider how customer issues are handled here, especially in situations involving emergencies or unexpected circumstances."

"Best vacation ever"

"We decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary at Hotel Xcaret Arte. We received to fill out the list of activities, and we did it, we said the reason to visit this hotel. The day of our anniversary we went to a restaurant for dinner and to celebrate, they asked if we are celebrating something and we told them, but nothing happen, no celebration, at least we expected a plate with piece of cake and letter say "Happy anniversary" or something, but nothing. For me I do not care, but for my wife is a big deal. We tried to do this kind of trip for the last five years and this is the first time that nothing happens, very disappointed. We have a picture where we celebrate with a piece of cake our anniversary each but not this time. I know Xcaret wants to charge for everything, but for a piece of cake saying Happy Anniversary is too much. And we left a Tip to the Waitress for nothing. And is worst when see a lot of videos from other people that celebrate birthdays of Anniversaries with those kinds of attentions that we did not have. "

"I booked (and payed an additional EUR 8)) for the "Suite" (not the Twin/Double room) to have small cooking place available. However, I got the room without the cooking facility. Also, the reception staff I had at the counter spoke Spanish only. Her English was limited to a handful of words. It took quite a while to get my pancakes for breakfast so take that into account when you have plans for the day. It's located directly next to the highway, but no noise audible in the rooms. Because of the location you need some form of transportation to the beach and tourist area."
