"Roberta and Mariah were both amazing at the front desk. I had an issue with Expedia because I booked and paid for a Premium Oceanfront Room but upon check in I learned that this was not the room reserved for us. We were supposed to be in 318 which was going to be more basic and after arguing with Expedia for over an hour we ended up in 324 which was essentially the same. All of the ISO rooms looked exactly the same, with the exception of the large suite they use as the cover photo. The views are incredible and every room has a balcony or outdoor space. If I were going again, I wouldn’t bother paying for the premium room as all of them were the same with very similar beautiful views. The room was pretty simple but well maintained. The location of the hotel was perfect, felt like it was a good middle ground for everywhere we wanted to visit. Only bummer is the steakhouse was closed due to issues with the building. Roberta at the front desk made our stay incredible. She was so helpful and kind. She gave us tips and recommendations and even let us borrow beach supplies such as chairs, snorkel gear etc. She could not have been more welcoming. I would absolutely recommend the ISO and would come back myself as well."

"The room was very comfortable and spacious with in room laundry. The property was well kept had a nice pool area with pool side bar and the beach was just steps away."

"Property was nice and ocean front. Quiet and isolated from the rest of the hotels which is nice to avoid crowds. Everything is nearby, short 5-10 minute driving distance (groceries, restaurants, shopping). The Only downside and it was completely MY FAULT for not reading the property fee polices. Besides the normal nightly resort fees as all hotels have, they have a MANDATORY CLEANING FEE that is paid at check-in. So Besides spending the money for booking the room, you also pay a large lump sum at check-in. It was not a pleasant surprise, but it was MY FAULT for not catching it when booking the hotel and checking the fees. The hotel has their prices posted if you look up the cleaning fees for each room size. Although I had a good time staying at this location, I unfortunately wont be staying here again because of that pricey cleaning fee. The fee was more expensive than my airfare and nearly the same price as booking the room for 2 nights. For the total price i paid, Airlines + hotel + Mandatory Cleaning Fee, it didn't feel worth what i was paying. But if you dont mind that fee, its a good ocean front hotel with a nice view."

"We enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and well appointed. We appreciated there were various spices (not just salt/pepper) and plenty of kitchen items. All the beds were comfortable, which is always iffy when renting. The place was certainly large enough for the five of us who went, but it would be roomy enough for a few more.There is no A/C, as is common for Kauai, so it got stuffy but there were many fans to help out. We loved the wrap-around balcony. The view was lovely and just feet to the ocean if you wanted a more expansive view. We took daily walks along the bike path. The location to town was mere feet away as well. No need to get in your car for morning coffee or evening dinner. And the shopping, well, it's everywhere. Our family has been visiting Kauai for over 30 years and this was our first "stay" in Kapa'a itself. We would definitely return to not only this part of the island, but to this home as well. Thank you for a memorable vacation. Mahalo!"
