Moon Palace Jamaica – All Inclusive

"I liked the cleanliness of the property and the amenities. The staff was mostly helpful and friendly however the vacation consultants were aggressively trying to get me to attend a presentation. My room was called about 4 times in their attempt to get me to buy into a timeshare/residence. I found this to be disturbing and quite annoying. After checking out I was approached again about buying a coupon for a future stay. When I declined I was asked “what’s holding me back?” I was here for a vacation not a negotiation with moon palace about spending my hard earned money with them. This is my third time but I doubt I will be coming back. It just feels like they don’t appreciate my business and don’t care about my desire to have a relaxing experience. The other downside to this was the 1 hour 45 minute shuttle to and from Montego Bay airport. I would much rather stay in MoBay for my future Jamaica visits."

"I absolutely love this resort but I was a little disappointed due to the destruction of the hurricane. The first two times I have been to this resort it was so open and welcoming. The staff went above and beyond. The new staff is not as friendly or helpful. I understand they are doing their best to get it back up and running. Just wish I would have been given a heads up. I used to get up before sunrise and walk the whole resort just to enjoy the beauty and peaceful atmosphere. Whether it be the open water of the ocean on the family side of the resort which wasn’t blocked or full of obstacles. You could actually swim and enjoy the salt water and sea life. At night I always walked around after dinner because there was always something different to experience. The clubs, the different restaurants, or the different entertainment thru out the resort. I truly hope my next visit will be much better after all the prior staff is back in place, as well as repairs and renovations are complete."

"If you want a relaxing stay, this is the place to go. Unfortunately, my sister and I went during the beginning of the slow season and we were the only 2 guest for about 6 days! The Staff were all accommodating and attentive, making us feel like VIP's! The beach is small and there are on TV's, phones or tissues in the rooms, so if those are priorities you need to look elsewhere."

"Absolutely loved this resort! The staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to accommodate any requests, with a smile on their face. Ruth, Shavel and team at the Spa gave us wonderful massages. Cons: Dinner food was okay, but not great. Steak and lamb were so tough, we could not cut through them with our knife. Fish had several bones in them on 3 different occasions. Breakfast buffet was great. The jerk chicken was the bomb!"

"**Beautiful Villa **We had a very enjoyable 4-day stay at this beautiful and inviting villa in Runaway Bay. The home was comfortable, spacious, and welcoming, and the pool was clean and perfect for relaxing.One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the food. **Chef Frazier was absolutely amazing!** You could truly taste the heart and soul he put into every dish. The food was exquisite, flavorful, and definitely one of the best parts of our experience.The villa is also conveniently located near some local beaches. However, the roads leading up to the property are extremely rough and challenging. I would highly recommend having a local driver who is familiar with the area, as navigating the roads can be difficult if you don't know the route.There were a few things that could be improved. The shower water was lukewarm at best during our stay, and the Wi-Fi was a little inconsistent. Our host was very responsive and did her best to accommodate us and make our stay comfortable.Overall, we had a great experience and enjoyed our time at the villa. With some improvements to the hot water, Wi-Fi, and road access, this could easily become an exceptional stay. We especially appreciated the beautiful home, the pool, the location, and the outstanding hospitality and food from Chef Frazier."
