"Riva Surya has a beautiful location, and exceptionally friendly & helpful staff. The restaurant is open all day, and has a variety of dishes that are very well prepared. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was undergoing renovations during my stay, to the pool, as well to the rooms. Periodic maintenance is of course necessary, and it is unfortunate if one encounters it during one’s stay, but on the bright side, I think Riva Surya will be an exceptional place to stay when the work is...

"Was a social hostel for sure, the location is great, the rooms & bathrooms were clean. Just a few little things that made it uncomfortable and irritating to me. For example, if you are short and thick good luck getting on the top bunk! They made the ladder steps a whole leg apart. Also, the rooms are very small but there’s a lot of space to put your stuff which is good. Another thing is that it is way too hot with no ventilation in the whole place except the lobby. "

"The hostel is really clean and has a nice aesthetic but that’s about it. I think you’re paying more for the look than anything else. The restrooms are cleaned often throughout the day but there are no air fresheners... so at the end of the day/evening with the hot air and humidity the whole corridor starts to smell bad. Also, almost half of the over head showers weren’t working and the placement of hooks within the shower were close to the water so everything would get splashed on ......

"It was okay if you just needed somewhere to stay however the place was falling apart. There was a leak in the roof right next to my bed and the floor was caving in in the kitchen which was the roof in the men’s bathroom. "

"It could be better having a good shower which drop up down and not from the side (Diagonal). The in door "Shoes" are the best I have had till now. They are connected for big feet and really comfortable"
