"Comfortable stay in Monteverde. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Free breakfast was delicious. Close to town, walkable to restaurants. There is a cute little park with a mini Zipline across the street the kids enjoyed. The hot tub was great. Would have been nice if the pool was heated (it was freezing). "

"Unfortunately, when we arrived at the property - around 5 p.m., it was to discover that, in spite of our reservation, there were no rooms available. The manager/owner was very apologetic for the mix-up and made several calls to secure alternate accomodation for us. However, that was more expensive and we needed to move from one place to another to cover our 4 day stay with 2 nights in each place. It was pretty disappointing!"

"The property owner never responded to multiple messages. The link that VRBO sent with check in information was blank, and the host never provided directions or instructions to access the property. When I called him, the phone didn’t even connect to a voice mail. I think we were scammed."
