"The room we had had a problem with the toilet. It took ages to stop filling up & at one point the flusher stayed down so we had no toilet in our room. We went down for breakfast today at 9am only to find the landlord had overslept so the place was all closed up. Even the staff were waiting outside to get in. One member of staff, Natalie , was a great member of staff & very helpful. Great location for the town but very casual approach."

"Room was compact but comfortable, the bed especially comfortable. Best in room coffee ever! TV was impossible to sort out, HUGE but useless. A leak from toilet cabinet meant floor was wet most of the time, and was reported to manager, I'm sure it'll be fixed for next people. Pub is oozing with atmosphere, food is excellent. Staff are great. Somebody could pick up litter outside once in a while to improve the look."

"I had a pleasant and comfortable stay. I only ate at the hotel one evening but the salmon fillet was delightful. All of the staff were polite and friendly whilst remaining very professional. Nevan, in particular, was remarkably calm, professional and attentive in the face of multiple large coach-parties in addition to private guests, making him a true asset to the establishment. Thanks all!"

"the room was fine, reasonably modern in a very old school hotel. However the shower was freezing...only saved by having a bath where the water was hot"

"Great location overlooking river. Quiet. Handy for station. Shaver socket not working in 103. No usb sockets. Good internet. Comfortable beds. Hot shower."

"Clean room 21 thank you. Taps could be improved. Flush mechanism in toilet poor. Requires new fill valve to allow correct amount of water in to give a reliable flush. Not good for 2 days stay!"

"A delightful stay. Room was spacious, clean, with great views. Lots of choice for breakfast. We only stayed one night but walked down to the waterfront in the morning which was definitely worth doing. Would love to return again soon!"
