"We had a lovely stay at The Penguin for 10 nights over Easter. Brilliant location. The staff were lovely and the room was very basic but clean. No beach view sadly and we only went to breakfast half of the time as it was just far too busy. Staff were the best, in front of house, towels for the beach, a new toilet roll, clean room towels (maid service only every couple of days) and the 2 waters they say you get, were instantly given once asked for. No tea/coffee facilities in the room but lovely fresh coffee available in reception every morning at 730am which went down well. Great value for money when compared to the more high end hotels.
Would recommend if you're prepared to go basic...it was clean. Thank you to the staffing team. "
