This place is like staying in a private club, you have all the comforts of a 5-star hotel and everything that a sports and golf club offers. Excellent service, very friendly and attentive staff. We enjoyed our short stay enormously. I highly recommend it for family travel.

We’ve stayed here many times and just absolutely love it here. The bay is beautiful and there’s plenty of lounge chairs around the pools and hot tubs. All the rooms are so spacious. The beds are firm.

The location, staff, room, and dining options were all wonderful. My one critique is that when I am already paying quite a premium nightly rate, i did not enjoy being told it was an extra $45 to $80 charge depending on day and location for a beach chair and umbrella (but you got $15 off the non-guest rate). At every other luxury hotel I’ve stayed at this would be included with the room.

Gorgeous landscaping amid twisting, spanish moss dripping live osks, the Effie was outstandibgly welcoming. The staff was remarkably friendly and aimed to please in every situation from arrival each time we left the sight to our final departure, we felt like family. The Baytown Wharf had much to offer from live music to a plethora of restaurant chouces and shopping just a short walk from Effie Hotel. The shuttle service to and from the beach was fantastic as no long waits were necessary. ...

Terrible hidden charges, plus was billed twice for security deposit. Had to call accounts rec. Ended up costing a lot more than expected.

This was a very pleasant surprise. The hallway was quiet, the room was perfect for my family and we were very satisfied.

This was our first time staying with you, but definitely not the last. We have been coming to PANAMABEACH for several years, but this was our favorite place by far. The rooms were okay, the amenities were what made it soo great. We stayed on top floor, next year looking to book living quarters.

The room was super nice and comfortable which is to be expected. What surprised me was the extra touches that are not included at other hotels. I stayed for 4 nights. Each morning there was complimentary bottled water out on the desk .... most hotels charge $3 or more for a bottle of water. Perfect location on the western side of Panama City Beach. Pier Park is a 5 minute walk. Great tiki bar between the 2 pools. Now the room, WOW!!! This was the nicest room I have stayed in. It is obviously well cared for by the owners. Beautiful decor. Wonderful bathrooms. The beds were VERY comfortable. Huge balcony. Amazing room!!!

Although we were in the first floor, we were impressed at how quiet the hotel was. The breakfast was good. Location was also nice. Very short drive to Henderson State Park and several local restaurants. My kids also liked the fact that the hotel was in walking distance to The Track. We enjoyed our stay.

Our entire family of 8 people stayed for three nights at Emerald Grande in early June and we could not have enjoyed a vacation more. This is a world class facility and we were treated like royalty by the hotel staff. We had excellent accommodations with a wonderful view of the Destin Pass and Harbor.
