"It was very hot during our trip to New Orleans. We spent the morning exploring and the mid-day pool breaks were amazing!!! The hotel and room were great but we particularly loved the pool, as well as hanging out in the lobby drinking iced water! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone, including families. We hope to go back soon and bring our adult children. Southern hospitality is really a thing and I can't wait to get back to New Orleans!"

The Royal Sonesta New Orleans

"My wife and I visit Nola at least 4 times per year. We have always stayed at another hotel, but tried the Sonesta on a friend’s recommendation. This is our new home, and for many reasons. Valet parking was much easier and secure. I’ve had flat tires and car damage at the other establishment, but Sonesta has their own valets and not contracted to a third party. Location is ideal. We prefer the canal street end of Bourbon for the nightlife. The staff is amazing. Since Covid many establishments are having employee turnover, not at the Sonesta. Wilbur has been the bellman for 50 years, and he is just one example. The people are the main reason we love New Orleans, and the Sonesta is the best example of this"
