"Wanted a night away over the bank holiday but not too far from home (Wales) so this was perfect. Booked the club package and for £70 it was exceptional value. Room was great, perfect for a short stay, had everything I needed. Dyson hair dryer, capsule coffee machine, reusable water bottle for the gym and a bag of jelly babies, marketing team excelled by renaming them ‘Village People’! Really good levels of service and good in room information via QR codes. Self check in was quick and efficient. Having use of the gym was a bonus. Towel and locker key provided. Gym very very well equipped, nice pool but mostly loved the steam room , sauna and ice bath. I didn’t eat or buy drinks (apart from Starbucks coffee in the morning) as huge M&S 5 min drive so bought food with me for an in room picnic! Would definitely book again especially for the price I paid "

"Beautiful hotel with all you could need on site. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are roomy with huge, comfortable beds and come equipped with iron, board and hairdryer which was a bonus. We had a lake view ground floor room and it was perfect for a romantic weekend away in the sunshine "

"Reception staff were friendly and professional. The room (230) was lovely and clean. Lunch in the bar was excellent and once again the staff were friendly. Breakfast was just as pleasant. My only moan is that I dont think residents should have to pay for parking. 9/10 thanks."
