"This is a great place to stay in Taormina. We weren’t sure if we should stay so high up but the shuttle service the hotel provides is super easy to use. Can take short walk up the hill to amazing views as well as stairs down to corso umberto. Breakfast always amazing and having the pool was perfect. Beautiful views in from each room. We booked the enta suite and it was amazing"

"Great location, wonderful staff. Will stay there again when I go back to Taormina again!"

"Absolutely outstanding and perfect in every way."

"Love the location and the view of the balcony rooms. Grounds were excellent and beautiful property. It’s an older hotel with vintage vibe but makes you feel like you are in true Italy. Well maintained and cleaned. Highly recommend."

"Villa Ducale’s staff deserve TEN stars. From reception to the waiters and shuttle drivers, everyone went above and beyond. They handled our reservations and every request with warmth and care. "Hotel Metropole was a perfect location for our stay in Taormina. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The food was excellent and the wait staff were amazing. The hotel room was spacious and clean with amazing views The infinity pool was a great way to relax in between and after our day of touring. We highly recommend staying at Hotel Metropole."

"Amazing views from our balcony and beautiful pool overlooking the water. Delicious buffet breakfast. Short walk to town and very close to the bus station. Also close to the gondola going down to the beach. A beautiful hotel I would stay here again."

"Everything starts at check in and we found the staff indifferent. We were 15 min early for check in but said go upstairs and have lunch and it will be ready soon. 2 hours later we were still waiting. We could have gone out and enjoyed the town vs hanging around the hotel. We finally did leave since it was taking so long. The room itself was nothing special even for Italian standards. Never had coffee pods available unless I called for them daily. The pool area seemed ok but was always in...
