The room was spacious and the loft bed was really neat and comfortable. They even have an air purifier in the the room. The breakfast was really good and so was the dinner and affordable too. It was pretty central as well. I would stay there again if I go back to beijing!

Upon arriving my wife explained that we had a taxi that refused to use the meter and charged almost 4 times the usual fare. Having taken a picture of the side and license plate of the cab the concierge immediately called the cab company and the authorities on our behalf. An excellent hotel in Beijing! The concierge team was outstanding, going above and beyond to secure entrance tickets to various sights of interest for us, which can be tricky for foreigners to do on their own. They were also super helpful in booking taxis, making our transportation hassle-free. The breakfast at the hotel was fantastic, offering a large selection of both Chinese and Western items. Wonderful hotel! We stayed in room 1525 and it was beautiful and clean. I’m very particular about hotels and this met my standards. It was refreshing to go out and explore during the day and then return to such a lovely room. Staff were very helpful. Not everyone spoke English fluently but it was easy enough to communicate. Good location that is close to Xi’dan metro stop and 2 stops away from Tiananmen Square and the forbidden city. There were many upscale stores and typical food courts located...

I recommend this hotel. The only problem was that I took a reservation for 3 people in an executive suite and, when arrived the only room available had only one bed. ??. I ask for the other bed and They said that the bed have an extra cost.??. Finally, after a discussion, they did not charged the extra cost. I don´t know if the problem is from Expedia or from the hotel, but it is not logical a booking for 3 people with only one bed.

There is a lot of competition for hotels in Beijing. This one lives up to its status as a luxury hotel. The decor is spectacular, filled with lacquer, silk, and original artwork. The staff is incredibly professional. I did have a problem with the wifi and the staff went out of their way to solve the problem. And the location is really good, not far from historical/cultural sites, restaurants, and a metro stop.

In general is good just the area is too commercial and difficult to find local food

Good: - staffs are frienly, knowledgable and speaks english reasonably well - very artsy vibe with modern chinese flavor. Recently renovated - clean room - good breakfast buffet for 20rmb (3 bucks) - eye opening experince of seeing how locals live in hutong - 5-10 min walk to subway line 5 - in central beijing. Houhai quick taxi ride away (only 14rmb) Bad: - my driver without gps had trouble finding it

Location is great. Walking distances to breakfast, shopping and more. However, we were disappointed on cleanliness for the room. The room was very comfortable and nicely decorated. however, we saw blood stain in bathtub, and it were there all 3 nights we stayed..

I booked excursions to the Great Wall of China, and I had a limited amount of time, the hotel staff found a suitable option for me, and I looked at the Great Wall of China and even visited the Buddha Temple, I was very satisfied.

Muy buen hotel, situado en calle peatonal muy turística, y con acceso por carretera a 100metros. Nos quedamos en una habitación con terraza, y super bien, tranquilo y limpio. Además te hacen la limpieza de ropa gratis, todo un lujo hoy en día.

You only have once chance to make a 1st impression and Beijing Marriott hit a home run. Excellent all the way around. I'll be back.
