"We had a driver drop us off at the Hilton Garden Inn, London Heathrow. What we didn't know was there are 2 Hilton Garden Inns, London Heathrow. They are located specific to the Airport Terminals you want to fly out of. We were left at the wrong one. When I was making reservations it was not clear that I needed to include the Postal Code in order to tell a driver how to get us there. It caused lost time and another driver charge to take us to the correct one. The hotel was excellent."

"Very good staff, as so often with Hilton. Really good barman, handsome too! He made a great Martini and the food there was very good. I had a ploughman’s which was HUGE and delicious. It’s actually a stunning building, beautiful to look at and very calm. It was incredibly quiet in the room, maybe I got lucky, but good dark curtains and nice sheets, pillows and towels. However, there wasn’t a single phone charging device in the whole hotel or in the room, which is mad. I was travelling between homes when my flight was cancelled and I had to leave my phone at reception to be charged. Inconvenient. Staff were very nice about it, but couldn’t help. I think the exterior spaces and the carpet in the room could have been cleaner, but for an airport hotel with that much traffic it really wasn’t that bad and the look of the place is quite inspiring. I would stay there again if I am in the same position."

"Stayed here on a one-night layover. Very “American style” (free standing modern building with big rooms) Marriott other than not having a free shuttle to/from airport. Uber was a little over 20GBP. Because the hotel is not on the airport grounds, You can walk around the corner for about a 1/4 mile and get a decent meal and a beer at a neighborhood pub that has indoor outdoor seating called the Pheasant. Very welcoming and avoids eating in the hotel restaurant although the hotel restaurant was not terribly expensive and looked okay. There’s also a pharmacist and grocery store around the corner the other way about 1/2 mile off if you need anything."
