"Having never stayed before at the Crazy Bear I went in with high expectations, however I didn’t realise the room which was meant to be a decent level, was the size of a postage stamp, just enough room for a double bed, no spa even though it was advertised as that’s the other venue not Steadhampton. Overall less than impressed, especially for the money, probably the most expensive hotel you can stay in per square foot, which was about 12. "

"This was a lovely place to stay, and very good value with breakfast included. Dorchester on Thames is a very quiet village on the edge of the Cotswolds - something you may well appreciate if you venture into the tourist hotspots! All the staff were brilliant and really helpful. Breakfast was outstanding and cooked to order (with plenty of cereal, fruit, yoghurt and preserves available too.) Room was a really good size, comfortable (if perhaps a little frayed around the edges) Decent food in the restaurant and some lovely ales in the bar. Oh, and free parking (in their car park and on the street outside) Beware though if you’re rather tall like me…people were a bit shorter in the 17th century and you’ll need to remember to duck!!"

"Lovely cottage - everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival. Communication was clear and friendly from start to finish. We had such a peaceful and relaxing stay, exactly the proper switch-off time we needed. It’s also wonderfully close to Oxford if you’re looking for a bit of sightseeing or a more social day out. We would happily return!"

"We rented Home Farm for a work retreat and it was brilliant. We had people stay in the different accommodations and then come to the main house for sessions. We had a private chef make lunch and dinners for us, which worked really well. The whole place is clean, cosy and a really lovely space to be in! Plus there are lots of good walks around the estate!
