"What a nice find. An old hotel that is cared for. The staff are fabulous, I wouldn’t want to single anyone out because everyone we came across was helpful,polite and friendly nothing was too much trouble. The room was of ample size with a nice bathroom with walk in shower. The bed was very soft which was the only down side for us, we prefer a much firmer mattress. Breakfast is made to order and was very nice. Evening meal was also good quality. The bar is at times unattended but it was easy to get some attention and the prices were very acceptable for a hotel bar. Overall a lovely stay, we left with a very positive view and hope to return when visiting family in Surrey. Thank you to all the staff 👍"

"The hotel was situated in a very convenient location. The room was very clean and tidy. All the facilities provided were excellent. I was fully satisfied with the hotel room and all the staff who helped me have an excellent stay. I look forward to using doubletree again in the future."

"Very comfortable bed and do ask for the firmer pillow as it more more firmer than the current pillow which is more gaseous than feather! The features are all aviation like and very good for transiting via Farnborough airport . The breakfast was rather limited and for the price not as international as one would expect. The staff are generally attentive but the culinary experience needs to improve to attract a more experienced international clientele besides the staff if most of the lest jets taking time off."
