"We really enjoyed our stay at the Wyndham Alltra in Playa Del Carmen. I loved being able to stay in an all inclusive that was still in a central/ downtown location so it was easy to go offsite and explore the local scene. The pool was warm, and comfortable, hotel wasn’t too busy, and the food (especially the Mexican restaurant) was great. Service overall was very good. "

"First stay at an all inclusive and it beat all expectations. We went in a slow season, and felt like we had the place to ourselves. The service was incredible, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, modern, and clean. The maid service every day was awesome. We had a couples massage at the Spa and it was wonderful and well worth the money. Food was delicious at every restaurant including the buffet. We received a free visit to Chef's Table specialty dining for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Bar drinks throughout the resort were good and strong. Bartenders are fast and attentive. The only small downside was the swim up bar and main pool bar closing at 6 PM everyday. That was pretty early for us as young adults. We did love that our building (furthest away from the main pool/beach access) had its own pool out front with a bar that was open late every day. All in all would recommend this resort to anyone. We had the time of our lives."

"The first thing I have to mention is all inclusive didn’t mean all inclusive . With that being said, unless you don’t mind bottom shelf alcohol, the package isn’t worth it as the food is BAD and the drinks are below average. Breakfast is the only halfway decent meal and the burgers on the rooftop other than that I ate off the resort more than I ate elsewhere . The stay in itself is nice but save yourself the money and plan to eat elsewhere . $15 To visit Sister properties are worth it. Location is amazing but if you can’t sleep because of music this isn’t the place for you. Walking distance to FREE beach. Pool needed to be upgraded when I was there not got a notification they would start construction on it the day I left. Spa is mediocre. "

"Everything was good except for 2 things : 1) we went the last week of April and the seaweed at the beach was so much 2) a dinner reservation system was horrible, we arrived on a Sunday and immediately went to guest services to book our dinners for the week. The problem is nearly all of them were booked up for the week already even though this is during off-season, which was really surprising. We were able to get in at three of the restaurants during the weekday we had but the earliest reservations were at 9:30 PM. It’s ridiculous that you cannot book dinner reservations before your arrival. The pools were amazing though! "

"I would call it a boutique resort. Amazing location, very clean, very well maintained, staff were really helpful. Best food ever! I highly recommend it!"
