"great place to stay, 5min walk away from the ximen mrt and a convenience store 1min away. also a rather good breakfast place a few seconds away. hotel itself was nice looking, quite spacious for the triple single bed. the amenities were self service, take as u need, which was nice. the 2nd level social floor was great as well; provided a space for us to takeaway our food and to have food there. had many options of food & drinks to choice from to consume.the gesture of the jigsaw card was cute. "Stayed 4 nights at the Art’otel in Ximending, we really enjoyed our stay, staff were great, room was comfortable. Located in a quieter part of Ximending which was handy to escape the madness. We were able to leave our bags at hotel since we arrived early. Room is small but all you need when exploring Taipei all day, shower was clean & had good pressure, soaps & shampoo were also nice. "I would give 4 stars to this property. Although the room is small, it is expected. All the necessity are ready, including slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste, hair dryer...and a bathtub too. It's perfect actually. However, i have to deduct 0.5 star that when i check-in at 18:30 and walked into the room, the room was not cleaned, I have to report to the staff and then wait for 15 minutes until it is cleaned for me to move in. I need to deduct another 0.5 stars because the soundproofing is not...

"There isn't slways someone at the front desk, so if you need somethning, you'll have to get the personal number of the employees and call. But overall, the place was very comfortable, clean and complete especialluy for the price. Excellent location. "
