"This hotel offers no extras - no help with baggage, no water available, no amenities in the room - you'll need to grab them from the lobby. We were not able to check in early and when we could check in, it took a long time. The worst part was after traveling and receiving less than mediocre service, when we finally got to our room, it was hot and stuffy! The temperature was set to 25 degrees Celsius. The lowest temperature that could be set in the room was 20 degrees Celsius- not comfortable on humid or hot days. Would NOT recommend, especially for the high price when there are many choices nearby for less and better service."

"Good location without a doubt. Good Italian Restaurant on ground floor which we presume was leased by the restaurant. Excellent meals. Now the negatives - the reality of the hotel did not match up with the very professional wide lens photographs on your website (and others). The reception was in the bar/lounge which was half the size of what it looks like in the photos. To make it worse several days of the week there is a DJ and open to the public. So guests had no lounge as the other adjacent bar was never open - we were there 8 nights so know this. People attending standing around at the door of the elevator bringing guests and people checking in up was very annoying. We found it very disappointing - the hotel either provides a lounge for their guests and give up the dancing/DJ/Karaoke evenings or whatever as they cant do both. It is unfair on the guests as these public evenings are not mentioned in advertising. The staff were very good though. There are numerous excellent restaurants very close by down the Corridor. Very busy area every night. The only disappointment was the fact of the lounge being used for public gigs with no prior warning to guests. "

"Nice hotel in good location. Just to make sure to book early. We decide to add a night before our stay at the last minute and the hotel has deleted the option for extra bed in the reservation, so we have to pay the hefty charge for extra bed. The other 3 nights was good price for 3 person. Also very nice breakfast. "

"We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel was very clean and in a SUPERB location—there are like 3 subway stations in <5min walk and we could get almost everywhere without any transfers. There is a 24h convenience store on the ground floor with good coffee and onigiris, etc, which we used for breakfast most days, and we were grateful for the coin laundry in the lobby. Just note the rooms are very small. We kept our luggage upright against the wall as there was no room to open it and walk from the bed to the door. But I’d happily stay here again."

"Breakfast food was edible. Nothing special warranting the price. The toiletries were really good and lux. That is where my praise ends. This hotel appears to not have enough staff, yet this last straw occurred in front of 2 employees who could have helped at any time. I explained that i have invisible disabilites (EDS, MCAS, scleroderma) that requires.help with my luggage. They didnt care. The male employees watched me shake and struggle & wince in agony, but they simply pretended not to see me. Any friendliness was so forced that it was uncomfortable. I spent over 1k to be there, only to be treated worse than a motel in my home country. Thought I was in an APA hotel for a sec given how much they seemed to dislike me for no reason (iykyk). The onsen is great except for the fact that it is COVERED in black mold & mildew. It smelled like a sewer and there was visible mold on the wood shelves etc. Really felt marginalized at this hotel, for the first time ever in Japan. The female employees were mostly lovely, and the rooms dated but comfy, hence me giving stars at all. If issues like this are addressed, I would recommend it, but at this time I simply can't. 😞 paying $270+ a night is outrageous for what you get. "
