"On my journey home I needed to stop over and pulled into Penrith, booked at 2050 and by 2120 I was in a spotlessly clean, very comfortable room with a green tea and delicious home made cookie. Breakfast was excellent too and hosts so very welcoming. As a solo, female traveller I felt very safe and at ease. I Would recommend to any type of traveller. "

The quaint charm of Garrigill made our trip so special, and even though the weather was harsh, we couldn’t have enjoyed it more, especially spending evenings by the fireplace. Lana was absolutely wonderful in taking care of us. She went above and beyond to organise a delicious vegan breakfast and made sure every detail of our stay was comfortable. Her warm hospitality really made us feel at home. We also loved exploring the outdoors, especially our adventure to Ashgill Waterfall, which Lana kindly recommended. All in all, it was the perfect countryside escape – we can’t wait to return!"
