"It was your typical hotel breakfast .. hot and good "

"I travelled with a large group and shortly after arrival we found bed bugs on several of the mattresses. When confronted staff denied what was being seen and stated they could not offer a refund because they did not have the authority to do so and it would have to be decided in the morning if that would be possible. This was not acceptable as we had to move 40+ young teenage girls to another hotel at which point it was late in the evening into the night with a flight less than 8 hours later and to incur the cost of another 18 rooms! The hotel has since sent me an email stating they had pest control in to access the rooms today and found no evidence of bed bugs past or present. I do not believe this to be true as we seen it with our own eyes and have pictures as proof. The bed in my room had dead bed bugs which I also have pictures of. They are claiming it was textile fibres which it was most certainly NOT. The conditions of the hotel are disgusting as we also experienced stained and blood covered bedding, toenail clippings and a very strong odour in one of the girls bathrooms. Some of the girls had bites on their legs and some of the bites looked similar to flea bites. This is NOT a place to stay! Stay away from anything to do with this hotel. We are thankful that we were able to find other accommodations as this situation could have been so much worse for us. We did not leave this hotel with 40+ teenage girls over nothing! Our concern/issue was valid!"

"Breakfast was good and staff were very welcoming and friendly. Originally stayed in room 219 for 1st night but this is a very noisy room due to entrance doors below and coaches pulling up to the entrance. Thankfully staff moved us to room 306 - very peaceful indeed. Would definitely return here in the future."

"Clean room "

"It was a very convenient location with an Atlantic Superstore across the street and a fantastic coffee shop near by. The parking was right out front, the staff was very friendly and they were delighted to meet our dog. The beds were the best hotel beds I have slept on, the pillows - for once I didn't miss my own pillow... and the shower. I have never used a multi-head shower before and I don't know how I can go back. It was wonderful. If you are staying with a dog, try not to get room 106. It faces the front and people often congregate there because it's a nice porch but they can be loud. That is my only complaint. Definitely going back."

"Pros Excellent water pressure in the shower. Staff were efficient and professional. They handled everything promptly. The location is a major plus, with easy access to the waterfront and downtown Toronto. Cons The room itself needs improvement. The mattress was uneven, with a noticeable “sinkhole” in the middle that made for an uncomfortable sleep. Temperature control was inconsistent. We were either too cold with the system on or uncomfortably hot with it off, with no middle ground. Soundproofing was extremely poor. We could clearly hear full conversations from the next room, including a detailed discussion about a cheating spouse and demands for them to move out. This wasn’t just muffled noise, it was clear enough to follow word-for-word, along with hallway conversations, which made it difficult to relax or sleep. Furniture felt outdated, and some pieces didn’t function properly (e.g., drawers that wouldn’t close). Parking is paid and accessed through Scotia Square, which was difficult to find and unnecessarily complicated on arrival. Overall Fine for a quick overnight or business trip, but not ideal for a longer stay due to noise, comfort, and room condition issues."

"It was a delightful to stay at this hotel. The architecture, the decor, the helpfulness of the staff was exceptional. I highly recommend this as a place to stay"
