Lighthouse Lodge And Cottages

"Photos are misleading, we stayed in the Queen Bed lodge and only this and the reception images are applicable. It was a simple typical motel style, chair & table, TV, bed and bathroom, no extra space and breakfast was not laid out like shown, instead bagels, toaster, some hot & cold drinks in reception was breakfast which you take back to your room. Watch out if you drive to the other side of the road, there are tree roots lifting the brick weave and it is not marked, only when you drive over and hear crunch noise, do you notice the lack of clearance in a car. Otherwise perfect location, 5-10 min walk down the road to restaurants, longer walk or short drive to the coast to watch the sea otters or sunset. Parking for the room just outside no no dragging bags we had at some other places."

"I did not know it was a resort when I booked the room. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and all of the amenities on site. I was able to purchase a breakfast plan through Expedia that was much cheaper than paying there. The restaurant at the hotel serves good food and has great staff."

Sea Breeze Inn And Cottages

"The rooms are pretty basic but very clean. A nice table and chairs, large tv, comfortable bed, decent kitchenette. The staff was VERY courteous, and helpful. We had an issue with our tv and they were there to fix it within a half an hour. However, the water pressure in the shower was pretty pathetic. I know that the entire city is careful about conserving water, but I think I stood in the shower longer and used more water to rinse the soap off. I have better water pressure in our RV. Other than that, I would stay here again, but next time I’ll bring my own wine opener. The one they had in the kitchen was pretty awful. 😂"
