"The hotel is right in the gothic quarter, which means you are close to everything in the quarter. It also means it is very loud there right up to 3am, then the cathedral bells kick in at 5am.There is a buffet breakfast offered for 13€. The beds are super hard so if that works for you and you have ear plugs then this hotel will work. Hotel staff in the morning are super friendly. Staff in the evening are very much indifferent to you. One family in our group was given a different room than the rest of us, which was an issue as they were travelling with an infant. When they asked why they were given a different room, the front desk said all the rooms were the same, which clearly was not true. Front desk really couldn’t care less and made no effort to help the family. There are other options for accommodations in the area. It might be worth trying those first before staying here. "

"Our stay was incredible. The hotel is central to the Gothic Quarter and is walking distance to the water front area, Las Ramblas, The Born district, and Barceloneta. There is easy access to the "metro", museums and cafes, and bodegas. The hotel has a thousand year history so be sure to ask Anibal, Miguel or Renier for a tour. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean though the bathroom is a little musty due to the shower curtain. The breakfast is spectacular and abundant. The attendants Noelia and Marian treat you like family. Friday and Saturday evenings is difficult to sleep as they have live bands and DJs in the square. Parties go until 2am. This city only sleeps during siesta! We loved our stay and would love to return."

"We stayed two nights. Requested wake up call. Received an hour late. They forgot to call. Couldn’t have breakfast due to that as they had just closed. Room was supposed to have view and did not. Room was nice, clean and comfortable "
