"My 4-day stay at Queens Hostel was an absolute nightmare and undoubtedly one of the worst accommodation experiences I have ever had. From the moment I arrived, the environment felt uncomfortable and unpleasant. The hostel had serious hygiene and maintenance issues that made the stay extremely distressing. There were numerous bed bugs in the beds and duvets, making it almost impossible to rest properly and raising major concerns about cleanliness standards. To make matters worse, the structural parts of the bunk beds were worn out, dilapidated, loose, and unstable and there's no enough spaces to move in/between the bunk beds in the CUBICLE that they call hostel rooms. Sleeping on the bed was physically uncomfortable and caused body pain rather than providing rest. The toilet facilities were also in a terrible state; after flushing, waste would often rise back up instead of properly clearing away, creating another unpleasant and unhygienic experience. However, the most disturbing aspect of my stay was not even the poor physical conditions, but the attitude and behaviour of the hostel management. The level of arrogance, disrespect, and high-handedness displayed toward guests was deeply shocking. Rather than treating paying customers with basic dignity and courtesy, guests were made to feel as though they had no rights or value. "Myself and husband stayed for one night whilst visiting our son. We found the hotel in a very convenient location just a short walk to the tube station. The hotel was clean with our double room being ideal for our needs. We happened to be given an accessible room which had a great walk in wet room shower. Although the room has no special frills is fairly sparsely furnished, it had everything needed for a short stay. Tea, coffee etc and kettle. Hanging space for clothes and most of all simple to use air conditioning which was definitely needed as we had 30+degree heat! A reason we also chose this hotel was the ease of parking in the rear public car park where you could access the hotel plus reasonable cost at £25 for 24 hrs which you can add time too, which is payable as you leave the car park . Overall ideal stay , easy access from M4 and would definitely Use again whilst visiting london"

"I stayed there again because it appeared as one of the cheapest accommodation on Expedia and I was rather impressed by how spacious the room was so I felt that I got good value for money, especially its convenient location of having a bus stop outside and of course being on Uxbridge road. The breakfast in the morning wasn't the most interesting and certainly wasn't filling."

"Beautiful new hotel, usually stay at the Hoxton in Shepards Bush but will be staying here from now on. Rooms are lovely & staff were great. The only thing lacking was hooks in the bathroom for wet towels"

Hotel Shepherds Bush London

"Booked this hotel as emergency accommodation for my elderly father while my mother underwent emergency surgery at nearby Hammersmith Hospital. The booking was made in extreme haste and under considerable stress. I fully appreciate that the booking was marked as non-refundable, and I acknowledged this when speaking to the hotel. However, given the circumstances, I asked whether they could offer a reasonable partial refund, for example, refunding 2 of the 4 nights booked, particularly as the room ended up being used for only one night. Instead, I was offered a maximum refund of £80 from a £590 booking and given a condescending lecture about “terms and conditions,” with the implication that I should somehow be grateful for the gesture. The lack of compassion and basic humanity shown was honestly more upsetting than the financial loss itself. To make matters worse, the room allocated to my elderly father had no window and felt incredibly depressing during an already difficult time. I have no doubt the unused nights were likely resold, meaning the hotel profited twice while showing absolutely no flexibility or empathy toward a family dealing with a medical emergency. I would strongly discourage anyone from staying here, not only because of the poor quality of the room, but because of the cold, dismissive, and deeply disappointing way we were treated."

"Nice location, and low price for Hammersmith, but the hotel looks its age. Rooms are clean but very spartan with worn paint, furniture, etc. No AC either. Hot water did not work in the shower. We booked only for one night as it was close to where we were going, but probably would not recommend for a longer stay."

"Clean room , but very small. Bathroom very very small. Good to have a fridge in the hot weather. TV was a bit hit and miss Sainsbury’s just over the road. 5-10 minutes walk to shephards bush market tube station. 5-10 minutes walk to Westfield shopping centre."
