"The "standard" room is very small! There is room for a double bed, elevated like a bunk bed. The bathroom was likewise small. The standard room is really intended for 1 person rather than 2. All that said, the room was clean as was the bathroom. I did have to go and get another bath towel as there was only one. We included the breakfast which was a blessing. There were a lot of options to choose from on the cold as well as the hot side. The pizza the night before was not the best. The staff was very helpful and nice to talk to."

"I wasn't expecting much from this hotel other than being in a truly great location in Kings Cross. I wasn't disappointed, the elevators only work when they feel like, I had to have my key card changed out 3 times after getting to my room and finding it wouldn't function, and the room itself was very stuffy with no way of getting regular air circulation. No window and no fan that would stay on. I will say the shower was great for the UK but unless you need a spot - right there - I would definitely look at other options. Probably closer to a 2 star hotel than 3."

"I've stayed here in the past and to be honest it was well overdue a refurb! The rooms are now clean and stylish and the bathroom was immaculate. As of May 26 there is still some work happening but it didn't affect our stay at all. The hotel is so handy for Camden Markets and local music venues and is a 5 min walk from the nearest tube station. As you would expect of central London there's a wide range of restaurants in the area."
