"When I entered the room, there was a very unpleasant smell, like a dead rat. I requested several times that the staff change my room, but they refused and said they were unable to do so. As a result, I could not sleep properly that night and had a sleepless, uncomfortable experience. "Breakfast was plentiful and freshly cooked. Plenty to choose from. Car parking very reasonable with the discount and felt very secure. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, but sofa and carpet could do with a clean. "

"Bed was soft and mattress tilting me floorward. Shower tray was blocked, cutting short my shower. The bathroom sink was the size of a dentist's spit basin making it impossible to shave. Lights in the communal corridor didn't switch on with any of the switches so be sure to have a torch with you to safely stay this hotel. No bedside table or power socket anywhere near the bedside. I wouldn't stay here again."

"Accessible room was perfect. I chose not to have breakfast so not able to comment on breakfast or bar area, because fir my visit I was visiting family and had lots of activities planned with them. Room was clean and the walk in shower in the accessible room so much better than trying to climb into lowered bath to have a shower. "
