"Lovely hotel and restaurant in Masham. Very good menu and tasty meals breakfast through to dinner. Close to Ripon but also nice walks around Masham and an interesting church too."

"The hotel is very convenient for the local facilities. The staff were great and the room was very nice apart from the very squeaky door and the lift wasn’t working which caused an issue carrying cases up a steep staircase."

"Very basic rooms. One person seems to do all work from cooking to serving. Very helpful and friendly. But place badly needs more staff to clean and serve. One man cannot manage. Hotel in gear location to discover town and railway station by foot. Take car driving into hotel carpark as very narrow. Some good local beers on offer at bar. "

"My biggest "problem" was difficulty in parking after arriving late afternoon. All designated spaces were already taken but fortunately someone staying there helped us use the parking for e vehicles. When I contacted someone thru Expedia they said parking was first come basis. They advised that the National Park Car Park was an option. We made arrangements to leave car there for the next few nights just in case. That would not have been a hardship as it would have been a short walk. I think...
