"What I like: Close to the main street, Zermatt station, Gornegrat Bahn, Sunnega station, near the grocery, lots of food options, breakfast included, great staff and clean rooms. What I didn’t like: construction outside and no ac. Price is average. Overall, would stay again. "

"Lovely quaint little hotel right in the heart of Zermatt. Very clean and tidy and walkable from the main train station. Brilliant shower, comfy bed, nice bar and restaurant with one particular table in the breakfast area having the perfect view of The Matterhorn. Only 2 minor ‘beefs’ were that we found the room on the small side (admittedly my fault for not checking) and air con is operated centrally so room was stuffy meaning we needed window open and you get some revellers who’ve had a few too...

"The hotel is a gem in Zermatt. We had a wonderful room and it’s a little ways from the center of town in a quiet section with a perfect view of the Matterhorn. It’s great for families and the staff is very friendly! We will be back. "

"Weather was blizzard and snow so we missed our view of the Matterhorn. Luckily the hotel was cozy and very nice to stay in and keep warm with gorgeous views of the gondola going by."

"This is a nice hotel up on a hill overlooking Zermatt and the Matterhorn. They offer a pick up service from the train station and an elevator to get you down to river level from their high elevation when you want to walk to town. Convenient to downtown attractions. Good breakfast options and nice staff. Not much in the way of food during the day (Early June 2024). Perhaps it has more options when tourist season is high."
