"The hotel was in a superb location with the ferry and steam train nearby to enable us to explore the lakes. The hotel was spotless and the staff extremely friendly. The food was top notch and service fantastic! They have got the ambience of the hotel off to a tee. Lovely subtle background music and warm inviting features and decor. The spa was the icing on the cake. Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in. "

It quiets down at night. We had realfast and dinner on site and all were delicious! A cozy spot very easily reached without a car."
