"The smaller rooms are like those in NYC but if you just need to sleep,it's fine. The bathroom is cramped with a very uncomfortable shower that requires some contortion to get into, not for older people or those with joint problems. Location was excellent, across the street from the beautiful Hyde Park with plenty of transportation available. The air conditioner was marginal we had to open the window, not easy...something to check out before going in hot months...we were there in June,still cool...

"As a tourist you would be forgiven for looking to stay over the river somewhere in a more traditional style hotel, but this one boasts a superb location, right by the river and allowing very easy access to all the well known tourist attractions in Westminster, plus the south bank and london eye. Especially good if you have young children given it’s less than 5 mins walk away from the sea life centre and London dungeons, as well as various other attractions (and a a large playground). "This hotel was in a most convenient area, close to Covent Garden and all means of transportation. The staff was friendly (although some told us wrong directions a couple of times) and the entire place very clean. The breakfast was the same each day, with runny scrambled eggs and no berries among the fresh fruit. However, the coffee and teas were delicious and a variety of fresh breads. "The shuttle bus goes to the airpoirt every 30 minutes. Its an extra cost but Renaissance does not share with other hotels so you’re almost sure to get a place on the bus. Hotel looks in need of updating on the outside, but inside it is pretty good. Food in restaurant was pretty good too. Overall we had a good stay."
