The Montague On The Gardens

The Montague On The Gardens

10/10 Excellent
"Charming boutique hotel in a stately older building. My room was very cool- it was unique being bilevel. There is an enclosed patio where you can sit and have breakfast and look out on the garden. The bar/lounge area was comfortable and inviting with live jazz. What really makes this hotel stand out though besides the terrific location (across from the British Museum and an easy walk to the theater district) is the staff. Everyone- the receptionists, the people who clean the rooms, the breakfast greeters and the concierges- everyone was very helpful and friendly. Being from the US where hotels have ceased having a concierge and expecting you to just use Google- it was really nice to speak to a knowledgeable human concierge who enhanced my trip with their info and tips. I plan to stay here again in my next trip to London."
