"Overall this resort was a pretty big disappointment. The main area of the resort (lobby, courtyard, restaurant area) was very nice, scenic, clean and plenty of space to sit around and relax and enjoy the views. There are plenty of bars with decent drinks and friendly bar tenders. The staff was very nice and helpful. The room however was very underwhelming and a pretty big disappointment. We had the Junior Suite with the Ocean view. The room had definitely seen better days. Poorly patched holes and cracks in the walls, a very uncomfortable and stained couch, stains on the walls and furniture, and a pretty persistent mildew smell. It just seemed run down and their solution was to paint over everything (they even painted over a stray hair on the furniture). Finding a spot at the beach was somewhat of a hassle if you didn’t get down early. People would throw a towel down to claim a spot and not come back for hours, staff didn’t seem to enforce any of the 30 minute rules for leaving a space unattended. Most of the beachfront is behind expensive cabanas that seemed to go entirely unrented, blocking the view and leading to the beach vendors using them to hang out and lounge on when they weren’t harassing people trying to relax on the beach. The food was by far the worst we’ve experienced. Eating at the buffet was mostly just trying to find things that didn’t look like they would get you sick (we still got sick). The actual restaurants were a little better. "

"I was for some personal gestions. It was perfect for the price and location. 5 mts walk from the restaurants and bar near the area. Like 10mts walk to Los Soles. Really worked for me."

"Restaurants are good. Just the reservation system needs to be improved - you need to line up at the booking desk between 9am-4pm to make reservation. Many guests don't look at the menu before lining up. They browsed through the menus at the desk one by one and then decide which restaurant to reserve on which night. This makes the wait time very long. They should implement reservation using their Melia App. And you may not be able to go to certain restaurants during your stay because their capacity and open hours are not enough to fulfill all the requests. The nightly entertainment was a big plus for our stay. However the day programs are not always on time. Sometimes you just wonder if it will "happen" or has been cancelled. The resort has a great courtesy allowing us who have a late flight to use their facilities and buffet after checking out. We enjoy ourselves a couple more hours before heading to the airport."

"This is a clean basic room. There was an issue with ZERO email update to get a passcode to get inside the room with an reception person at the front desk. Luckily, When I arrived there was an agent there to help hand me a key. Once inside the room ---Everything else went smoothly"

He made sure to make reservations for dinners, helped us with excursions, reached out every day to let us know what specials they have on each day and even the weather updates. It was truly game changer for us, having a worry free vacation. We stayed at Grand Palladium Select Bávaro, highly recommended. And if you like coconut water, just ask one of the garden guys (green uniforms) they get you the fresh one of the tree. And you will find best breakfast at The Nest and best beef ribs at El Dorado (reservations needed)."

"The room i was assigned the bed had blood stained we told the reception in the am we went out came. Back to the dirty room 1 hr to wsot for towel the toilet was clogged cuz we had no water."
