"Beautiful big pub and restaurant, very clean and lovely staff, They serve Indian food which is to die for. The rooms are very well equipped and they also do a happy hour which is a bonus."
"Lovely clean room that had everything we needed. Appreciated the fan provided as it was a very hot night. Had our evening meal there and can highly recommend - it was delicious. Free Continental breakfast was also good. Great value. Would definitely stay again. "
"My husband and I came here for an overnight stay to celebrate my birthday.
We were greeted by Fiona the receptionist who was so welcoming and very friendly.
She was so helpful and nothing was too much trouble in asking for anything.
We loved our room which was spacious, clean and very cozy!
We both had a good nights sleep too.
We are both vegan and had a lovely vegan breakfast that was hot, fresh and delicious!
Service was friendly and quick too.

"Lovely 15th century pub with lots of character and beautiful setting. Family run and they really couldn’t have done any more to help us and make our stay a good one. Food exceptional. "
"I wasn’t sure what to expect due to mixed reviews. However I had a ground floor room as requested. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and importantly for me the hairdryer was good. The bathroom had a bath with a shower. The overhead shower was powerfully enough and the water was hot. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, it was peaceful. My tv worked. Kettle was clean.
The only downside was my room felt a bit cold. I didn’t ask about the heating, maybe if I had they’d have helped.
