Hotels.com said they negotiate a refund because there was a substantial difference between the private BA option and the shared BA option, but they were unsuccessful in negotiating that. "

"within walking distance from the train station- the train goes to Venice and from there you take a vaporette or water taxi to go around Venice. The staff was good. The website says that they have shuttle to the airport for a surcharge, from previous reviews it looked like it was around 25$ - I was charged 61 euros as they told me it was 50 euros for shuttle(taxi) and extra 11 euros for tax as I was paying by credit card. "We stayed for three nights… location is fantastic. Easy to walk to everything, but not loud. Staff did a great job communicating before arrival to fully understand how to check in (we arrived after hours). Room was small but fine. Bathroom was fantastic. Bed was very hard… some people like that- I would have preferred it to be softer. Overall, great experience and I would book again. "

"Nice room, conveniently located near shops and eateries. It was about a 15 minute walk from the train station so we did use a luggage porter who approached us as we were walking with our luggage. I definitely recommend using one since otherwise you have to carry your bags up and down the stairs on 3 bridges along the walk. The main king bed was very comfortable. "My family loved our stay here. It was quiet and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had 2 bathrooms and 2 nicely decorated bedrooms. Also provided was a bottle of still water and a bottle of carbonated water. The ceilings are a bit low so might be a problem if you are tall. There is also a small washing machine in the apartment with a drying rack which was very helpful. "Foresteria Levi was exactly what we needed. Centrally located close to the Accademia bridge it allowed us to visit all the sites in Venice in the short time we had. Our room was clean and spacious and accommodated our family of four. It provided a breakfast at a reasonable cost. Staff was very nice and helpful. At the end of our stay we had a water taxi come directly to the location’s own dock on the central canal to take us to the train station."

"I appreciate they provided info of transportation, attractions and nearby restaurants. 5-minute walk to the bus stop for buses that go directly to Venice island. The bathroom was cleaned everyday. The room was also clean. Comfortable beds. The room was a bit small though, and it's stuffy at night when we had to close the door and window. A hair dryer, a kettle and a fridge for guests to use. Helpful staff."

"We stayed in the Rialto room. It was very very nice with 2 balconies looking out over the Grand Canal. The building is very old, likely built at the time the main part of the city was built. The room was nicely decorated in period furniture. We LOVED this room. The location is nice. It is adjacent to a water bus stop.
