"This is such a great place to stay!! Yes it seems old but well taken care of. We had a canal view room with a balcony, it was a winner!! The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful with the luggage. Breakfast wasnt too bad either, could be a bit better but still great. Had good variety but quality was a bit low. AC in the room could use a repair, at some points it wasnt cold. Wifi was great. Location was very convienent, right next to the train station which meant we didnt carry any luggage upany stairs. We walked everywhere from that location, lots to see."

"We had a wonderful stay in Venice at the Carnival Palace Hotel. Fantastic views of the canal in a very quiet location in the city. Lots of local restaurants and cafes nearby plus three water taxi stops. Marco was very helpful with checkin, anniversary extras, plus restaurant recommendations and reservations. Our room was super clean with daily service. Breakfast was a good mixture of savory and sweet. When we return to Venice, we will stay at the Carnival Palace again."

"I spent hours looking at hotels online for our first stay in Venice. We decided on staying in the quiet location of Dorsoduro. Selected the Palazzo Veneziano and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel reached out right away to check in regarding travel to the hotel. Hotel is on the water next to great restaurants and easy walking to others. Beautiful courtyard was where we would spend time in evening with glass of wine. Rooms were beautiful, lovely large bathroom and the most comfortable bed we've had during our vacation. The staff was incredibly helpful and attentive. There was a vast breakfast spread in the morning for $10. We look forward to staying at the Palazzo Veneziano on our next Venice vacation."

"The Plaza Hotel is very conveniently located across the street from the Venice-Mestre Train Station. We arrived on a very rainy evening and we didn't even get wet to ge to the hotel. The city bus to the Venice Marco Polo Airport and the airport shuttle is just about a block down the street. THe room is spacious and clean although a bit outdated. There was a good variety of food for the continental breakfast. I will definitely stay there again. "
