"Loved the location. 2nd time staying here, this time specifically for the adult-only pool because we wanted a more quiet swimming experience and a break from a job that involves screaming kids. We were disappointed that the adult-only pool allowed kids until 9pm. Normally wouldn't care, however it was not relaxing as advertised. "

"Internet was decent, standard TV, my kids wanted to watch Netflix, that was the only downside of our stay. Everything else was really good. "

"Hotel is very new and in good condition. Breakfast buffet was excellent. This hotel has NO ice machines, not a single one. If you want ice you need to go to the hotel lobby bar and ask for a cup of ice. Lobby area is quite small so can get crowded at peak time. Rooms are nice; one downside is when bathroom light is turned on, light goes through the tinted glass door and light up the room. "

"Everything was absolutely exceptional except for the front desk workers, we found them a little bit rude and i understand it was a busy weekend but we’re paying so much to be there it would have been nice to be greeted with manors. All other staff were absolutely amazing being the managers, cleaners and waitstaff. another unsatisfactory part of our stay was the elevators, we waited 10-20 minutes each time we wanted to get to our room and even when we got it we shared with 8 other people that makes me wonder how safe it is. the chelsea hotel has 4 sections of different elevators and it works out great. all though this hotel is by far the best one i have stayed at downtown toronto, the amenities and rooms were absolutely amazing. thank you so much as"

"Property is OK although not the value it may seem that it might be at first. $40 for parking is crazy, and you basically get nothing extra with the stay to bring up the value. Rooms are cleanish although dated for sure. Probably wouldn’t go back but definitely not the worst place I’ve stayed. "

"My husband and I booked a room for ourselves and another for our adult son when we had a weekend visit in Toronto. The staff at the Pantages are all extremely kind, helpful, and friendly. The Pantages was an excellent location for us. Plenty of great restaurants close by to choose from. The Eatons Centre offered many shopping opportunities and was literally a two minute walk from the hotel. The PATH (also just a few minutes from the hotel) allowed us to easily, safely, and comfortably get down to Ripley’s Aquarium and the Second City Theatre. It also connects to the UP which we used to get to and from Pearson Airport. We enjoyed a breakfast at the hotel and piano music and a drink in the bar in the evening. The room was clean and quiet and the bed was comfortable. Our only complaint was the fact that the TV emitted a loud buzz when we were watching a rental movie. It was fine for cable television. We did let the front desk know about this as it also occurred on the TV in our son’s room, so it is clearly a widespread technical problem of some sort. We would recommend the Pantages for a stay in Toronto. "
