"I stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate my husband’s 50 th birthday. The hotel has a fabulous location, bang in the centre of the city and it really couldn’t be more central. The lobby bar and the reception are really exquisitely decorated. We had an executive suite in the west building. The suite was as advertised. Lovely furnishings and lots of space. A comfortable large bed with nice bed linen. The room felt airy and bright which I loved.In respect of the room, there was a bit lacking in terms of providing water in the room. Apparently only the first day the water is free which personally I think is tight given we were staying in a suite. However, we had to ask twice for a refill of water to the mini bar in our room. We did get one free alcoholic drink at the bar at check in which I thought was a great touch. I would also add that the air con didn’t seem to be fully functioning. The room wasn’t that cold although they did offer a 10% discount for this. Staff wise - I can’t say there was any personal touch or acknowledgement to celebrate my husband’s birthday. . Not even a happy birthday on the tv screen when we checked in. Just his name. I booked the roof top bar which was ok. I also booked breakfast for us both one day at 44 euros which I thought was very expensive given the limited choice and it was a bit disorganised. Overall a lovely stay, with some area for improvement to make the hotel amazing."
