"We had a pleasant six-day stay at the Riu Vallarta. While our room was satisfactory, we did encounter several instances of roaches during our visit. The pool water was very hot, which made it challenging to fully enjoy given the humid weather conditions. The food was acceptable. The beach, however, was beautiful and impeccably clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the shows and parties organized by the animation team; they were truly excellent."

"The resort itself is excellent. However, if you have serious food allergies like I do, I’d be careful. Lots of stuff was labeled as GF or DF and I could clearly see that it had milk or bread. I think it’s fine if you are extra aware. I told staff multiple times and I still had several allergic reactions. Other than that, this resort is my favorite."

"Room was good and we enjoyed being at the resort. It does take some time to get used to the layout and learn which elevators take you to which areas. The restaurants also close earlier than expected. Other than those observations we enjoyed our stay."

"Wasn't impressed. Pool is small and filled with screaming children and the staff has a huge speaker blasting music. The water in the pool was about 90*. I don't think there was any alcohol in the drinks. Buffet left a lot to be desired. One restaurant was completely closed for renovations. Not much to eat as a vegetarian. Overall i won't be back but it was decent overall."

"Food was good. Cleaning crew rush to clean room therefore they don't clean well. We saw a roach in the closet. I also think the really need to implement the rule of no food in the pool. Family pool is durty."

Even though it was a small resort without a plethora activities, the food quality was excellent, the room were was well arranged, and enjoyed the few activities we did take part in.
