The best hotel I have ever stayed at. The animal life AT the hotel itself is fantastic. I have never seen so many hummingbirds and butterflies. Troops of monkeys, both Howlers and Capuchins come through the property daily; right to the edge of the two pools, and for viewing from the private decks of each jungle facing room. If you ever wanted to watch monkeys, iguanas, and coati mundi's play in the trees from your pool or room while sipping a margarita, you have found the place. Just casually...

Wonderful all inclusive resort with friendly and attentive staff who genuinely wanted us to have a great experience! Food superior to other all-inclusives we have visited, and dining options included for gluten and dairy free. Great housekeeping, excellent and timely bar service at the pool, had to get room service one night while managing a canceled flight and food was great then too. Very service oriented and nearly all staff wore masks appropriately and were seen to be cleaning common areas....

We chose the W for our Honeymoon and from the moment we arrived at the W, the staff was so warm, welcoming, and helpful. The particular staff members who went above and beyond for us were Glenda, Fabian, Andres, and Gerardo. We ate mostly at the Cocina Mercado on-site and the food was excellent. El Mangroove is a modern, beautiful property located on a very calm bay with great sunset views. The area is very peaceful - a perfect place to relax and unwind. The staff could not be nicer or more attentive. They went out of their way to entertain our kids, make sure we were comfortable and taken care of, etc. Food was delicious. I wish we could have stayed longer. It's only about 20 minutes to Liberia airport.

The hotel is beautiful place full of trees, plants and birds. It is situated right in front of the beach which provides a wonderful and calming experience in Costa Rica. The room we got was very nice! it was clean, very comfortable and with a garden view. Hotel was awesome, staff is great. If I had a complaint I’d have to say the cost of the food. 1st night of arrival got a hamburger, a salad, and the wife and I each got one drink. The bill was $75. From that point on we went and ate at Tamarindo. Our 1st day in Tamarindo breakfast, lunch, and dinner was $80 total!

We loved Margaritaville Costa Rica! It is right on the Playa de Flamingo which is a wonderful beach. The staff, the food, the drinks, the location & the sunsets where fabulous. We would only ask that who ever is in charge of the "pool music," please include some Jimmy Buffett songs. We where there for over two weeks and did not hear one Jimmy Buffett song over the stereo. I will start off by saying we have been to a lot of All Inclusive resorts from smaller to the larger multi complex resorts. We've always booked great review "5 star resorts" This one hit on every single item we look for in an all inclusive vacation. Staff was very friendly and place was clean

This property is great and surrounded by beautiful. The staff was so sweet, professional, and helpful. The food was delicious. I would rate them an 8 out of 10. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would suggest is they invest in entertainment. There’s not much to do at the hotel besides eat, drink, swim, and relax. Samara is a small town that’s far from excursions and major cities so the hotel really need to do something to keep their guest entertained. Other than that this...

I read so many reviews (2000 ) after booking this property. I got so worried bc people were either it’s great or totally trashing it. Let me tell u, this is the most beautiful place we have been to, and we’ve been to other countries. The villa was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. The customer service of the hotel is quick and efficient when you call the reservation desk. I thought my room light was not working so I called the front desk and they sent someone within 2 hours. The repair man showed me the other light switch near the bedroom lamp area. Everything was great! An important thing to remember is that you are in Costa Rica..... Not in a Hilton, so not everything is perfect..... The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was very good. The bugalow-style rooms are seperate from each other so it mades it a quiet stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to La Fortuna and am looking forward to go back!

The property was literally right on the beach, new updated rooms, great friendly staff. The only thing that could be a little better would be the food. Other than that, great property!

We used the hotel bus from San Jose, comfortable and excellent service. Reception staff Gonzalo & Alex outstanding. Very pls with the staff in the restaurants and with the cleanness regardless we stayed on a long week end with lots of people. The food was very good as well as the maintenance and cleanness of the room. The gardens beautiful ! The beach, if you walk a few yards to the left you can find a lovely beach with lots of vegetation nearby.
