outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading.

Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all...

Everything about our stay was excellent! The Cartier Mansion is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The owners were very friendly and so much fun to chat with at breakfast. The only think we would have changed is we wish we had reserved the front room which is attached to the upstairs balcony. But the room we were in was great and we loved our stay.

My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. I was asked a few times if i enjoyed my room (not annoyingly). The rooms were very nice and clean. The sheets and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but the toiletries were nice. Great customer service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was our first time visiting the area and we loved every minute. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. We will be booking a longer stay for next year! 😁

We stay at Cambria whenever we want to do an overnight downtown. It’s not right in the middle of the action downtown, which we like, but close enough to take an affordable uber. The decor is stunning, the staff are always very friendly and helpful, and it’s very clean. The only things I would recommend is getting a better brand of bottled water for the rooms, and also having something in the rooms that gives more info on everything the hotel has to offer, like the restaurants, bars,...

Loved the location and setup. Super nice owner. Easy coming and going with code to room. Very quiet and nice house. Room we had was setup with comfortable king and queen beds, smart tv, chairs and desk, Keurig, small refrigerator and microwave, lots of snacks waiting for us, and soda and water in a beverage fridge down the hall near main kitchen area. My daughter was in a softball camp at MSU. This was a great location! The breakfast at the hotel had a variety, for my picky crew. We will definitely be staying here again.
