Everything about our stay was excellent! The Cartier Mansion is beautiful and impeccably maintained. The owners were very friendly and so much fun to chat with at breakfast. The only think we would have changed is we wish we had reserved the front room which is attached to the upstairs balcony. But the room we were in was great and we loved our stay.

Very clean and well appointed! The beds are comfy and the shower had plenty of hot water and good water pressure. We didn’t use the hot tubs/sauna or cold plunge but they looked nice! Close to Bellaire and Mammoth (which is my fav as I don’t drink beer or cider so Short’s really isn’t the appeal to me for drinks). There’s other places too. All within walking distance. They asked that we put trash outside, pile towels on floor (which I do anyway) but I shouldn’t have to worry about trash at all...

outdoor stairs were a fun adventure for us with a snow storm, but we made it. We really enjoyed the front porch and heater in there while resting and reading.

My family only stayed here one night after leaving Michigan Adventure's en route to Sleeping Bear Dunes. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a warm face. I was asked a few times if i enjoyed my room (not annoyingly). The rooms were very nice and clean. The sheets and bed were comfortable. The bathrooms were a little dated but the toiletries were nice. Great customer service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. It was our first time visiting the area and we loved every minute. Our room had a beautiful view of the lake. We will be booking a longer stay for next year! 😁

We stay at Cambria whenever we want to do an overnight downtown. It’s not right in the middle of the action downtown, which we like, but close enough to take an affordable uber. The decor is stunning, the staff are always very friendly and helpful, and it’s very clean. The only things I would recommend is getting a better brand of bottled water for the rooms, and also having something in the rooms that gives more info on everything the hotel has to offer, like the restaurants, bars,...

Loved the location and setup. Super nice owner. Easy coming and going with code to room. Very quiet and nice house. One night overnight trip with a friend to attend a concert at the Fox. The Element is a great location within walking distance from all the stuff. People mover station across the street, short walk to Qline, Fox, restaurants, etc. We appreciated kitchen in the room with fridge and microwave. Everything was super clean, and the staff friendly and helpful.

I originally booked this room for my significant other and I to have a romantic night but unfortunately he was unable to make it.
