"We made a return visit to this lovely property. The owners are wonderfully friendly and helpful. The annexe is very well equipped. The property is in a quiet lane yet close to main roads, making it very convenient for exploring the area and travelling further afield. We were treated to homemade cake and eggs from the owners' chickens. I'm sure we will be back. Thank you!"

Our room was a good size, quiet and very comfortable. The hotel is steeped in history, and the building is incredibly quirky dating back to the 15th century. "The whole experience of staying at Duck Lodge was easy and delightful. Keith is the consumate host and is quite rightly very proud of the little slice of heaven he has created just outside of Brighton. We really enjoyed the feeling of being tucked away and having our own privacy. Using the hot tub was a treat and the lodge itself is super cute. We will be back :)"
