"Room was fine, laminate floor made it a bit echoey but it was comfortable, breakfast selection really good. Overnight parking was expensive if you're driving."

"Staff were welcoming and friendly. I have stayed in this hotel on a previous occasion so I am aware it is a bit out of the centre of Edinburgh but the tram stop is a 5 minute walk and is 15 minutes tram ride into Edinburgh. I did find the hotel bedding and pillows to be quite low quality, but it is a more budget hotel. Apparently there was a lot of young people staying from Cheerleader competition and there was a lot of them running around. I had to call reception at midnight to complain about the noise. Very disappointed that Novotel no longer provides free parking for guests but now charges £15 per night. It is cheaper to book directly through the parking company "Your Parking Space"."
