"Check in took a while as reception was dealing with awkward customer on the phone. Room spacious and clean with ample power and usb points. Good shower. Reasonable menu although it seemed more limited than last year so when staying 4 nights this may be an issue. That being said plenty of other dining options within walking distance. Ample parking."

"The hotel was well located and check-in was easy enough in the pub next door, if a little slow. The location was quiet too. We were above the main entrance to the hotel and did have the noise and vibration of the door shutting but it wasn't that bad. It is within walking distance of shopping centres and supermarkets which was really convenient. There was plenty of free parking. It felt secure as the access was locked anyone without a room key. "What a delightful stay. Quiet country area. Staff are ALL very friendly and welcoming. Restaurants of dinner and breakfast are 5 stars. Room was very spacious and beds/pillows very comfy. Once you check in you don’t need to go anywhere else to eat or drink. "

"Fantastic stay at the Allanton inn. Bar and restaurant is great, especially having a drink in the large outdoor area. Staff are very helpful and extremely friendly. The bed in our room was a little hard but it this is a minor issue for such a great stay. "
