Very nice country Inn. Nice location. The restaurant was very good.

We were pleasantly surprised with food for dinner and breakfast! I would say the only complaint that we had was the parking outside. If you pay before you go inside you will pay significantly more than if you go inside. There's no signage that says it's cheaper if you go inside and there is no refund.

Staff were very helpful and accommodating

Always stay here staff are excellent. Hotel room has everything we need and sitting out looking onto the lake is stunning Food is reasonably priced and you can have it brought to your room for a service charge. Breakfast is good or if you’re going out for the day they offer sandwiches instead.

Better to enjoy your coffee there rather than get it to go. The takeaway cups are so small that you end up throwing away half your coffee. They should offer larger takeaway cups to avoid this waste.

Amazing boutique hotel with an incredible staff. From the moment I walked in everyone of the staff made me feel as though I was the most important person there. The room was fantastic and wandering the halls to see the grand library, with books that are 100s of year old, and the first floor dining room which looked like it was set up for an event were beautiful rooms that I was not expecting to see in such s hotel. The Milestone is in a class by itself. It provides personalized "old world" service while offering every modern amenity The front desk staff is friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping department is outstanding; every area of the hotel is absolutely spotless. Those who work in the restaurant, especially during breakfast, are excellent. We can't wait to visit again!

Great small hotel: of similar quality but better location than the Blake's Hotel (which is also one of my favorite small hotels in London). The bar, room service, food are top notch. Great place to stay

My room was small, but very clean and comfortable. Short walk to underground station made this a great base for exploring the city. The area is quiet, but always has enough activity to feel safe. As a single traveler, I was perfectly comfortable walking after dark. Friendly staff made it a great place.

This is one of my favourite London hotels. The location is second to none and the service is lovely. Although the rooms are starting to show their age a bit, they’re still lovely. My only gripes (and they’re small) are that they no longer have room toiletries from Bamford and their room service isn’t as good as it once was.

This is a quaint hotel. The bathrooms are brand new, but the rest of the hotel has an English feel that welcomes you. The elevators are very small, but we never had any problems using them. There is a wonderful bar and an excellent restaurant. The staff could not be nicer. We had a dedicated doorman who helped me in and out of taxis. We loved every minute of our stay and would highly recommend it.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. Conveniently located near everything that we wanted to do on this trip, the Montague provided all the comfort and cleanliness that we desired.
