"Great location right on the site of all the shops and resturants. Good breakfast but would liked to have seen some veggie sausages, stayed 4 nights but never had them, apart from that its a good holiday inn.👍"

"Some places are simply special, and this is one of them – a true hidden gem. My daughter and I stayed one night before her graduation day at Portsmouth University just so we could enjoy some precious mother and daughter time before such an important milestone. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such genuine warmth and kindness that it immediately felt like a home away from home. The property is absolutely stunning. Every room has been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated, creating a feeling of comfort, luxury and calm. My daughter genuinely felt like a princess, and it was the perfect setting to celebrate such a proud moment in her life. The little touches made all the difference. When we arrived Mubi showed us around and kindly offered us a beautiful vase to put graduation flowers in and keep them fresh! – such a thoughtful gesture that meant so much. It’s this level of care and attention that turns a lovely stay into an unforgettable one. We took a short stroll to the beach and there are restaurant/bars nearby too. We spent the evening sharing pizza, sipping wine, laughing over a game of table tennis and even playing Pac-Man together. Those simple moments, in such beautiful surroundings, became memories we’ll treasure forever. Thank you Steve and Mubi for making such a significant occasion even more magical for our family. We left with full hearts and wonderful memories, and we’ll absolutely be returning soon"

"2nd visit to this hotel...and same room as I enjoyed it so much last time. And won't be last visit. My room felt and smelled like it had been cleaned from top to bottom before I arrived. Everything is spotless right down to inside of kettle. There are parts that are worn but for the price I overlook them. Staff are beyond helpful and friendly. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and these guys are top tier...in fact...Number 1!! Amenities in room and around hotel are very good. Parking is plentiful. Local shops and fast food, supermarkets and garages for petrol and snacks. Easy access to motorways and A roads. Quick access to city and beaches."

"Overall reasonably good. Room was fine, but the air conditioning didn't work (a problem in a number of rooms that weekend). Check-in was very slow, said to be because of a new computer system. Quiet, sea view (it was 5th floor and extra). Also, and as with a previous room, the shower drained very slowly and the outlet was pretty bunged up with hair (don't look!). We paid for parking with the booking and since there was no space in the hotel car park we got a voucher to park in the road outside, which was fine. We rarely saw any spaces in the car park. Nice to have a bar for a night cap, and breakfast (also included) was pretty good, we were just amused by the lethargy of the staff around there. Not sure we've ever seen two people work so slowly, chatting on the side. At one point I counted six tables that needed clearing and quests walking round looking for tables and eventually clearing their own. Not experienced things this bad for a while. We stayed two nights and experienced the same each morning."

"Disabled Traveller Review - We stayed in accessible room (101) which was very good. Massive room, plenty of sockets, a fridge, steamer, hairdryer, all excellent. The only issues we had was the bed was too soft, so hard to get in and out of if your mobility isn't good and the carpet is too thick to wheel a wheelchair easily around. The bathroom was great (so big we could have held a party in there!), but the floor is a real health risk, like a skating rink when wet and the toilet was way too low for a disabled toilet. However, despite my little niggles, it was easily one of the best accessible rooms i've been in and with breakfast included and access to the swimming pool, I will most definitely be back - just make sure you bring shower shoes."
