"As soon as you get to the property you will get a person talk to you about " the 90 minutes talk" if you say yes they will become your concierge. IF YOU SAY NO!!! YOU WILL BE ON YOUR OWN!!! we tried to get reservations for the restaurant only to be told that they had a problem with the system and cannot book anything!! Everything is blocked!!!! They will tell you to come back the next day.... the coconut that you see in the picture are not free. LAS CUEVAS restaurant is not open. Its a beautiful place for pictures."

"We had an excellent stay at this resort and truly enjoyed our vacation. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our entire stay. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The servers at the buffet restaurant were especially wonderful—always kind, professional, and very attentive. We ate at the buffet most of the time because the food was always fresh, delicious, and offered a wide variety of options to satisfy every taste and dietary preference. The entertainment team also did an amazing job organizing fun activities throughout the day and evening, keeping guests of all ages engaged, happy, and entertained. The resort was extremely clean, the amenities were very well maintained. The only disappointment was the amount of sargassum on the beach. We were lucky enough to enjoy the ocean for the first four days, but during the last three days it was impossible to swim because so much seaweed had washed ashore. As it accumulated, it began to rot and created a very unpleasant smell. We were surprised that the beach wasn’t cleaned more frequently. That said, this did not ruin our vacation. We still had a fantastic time and would absolutely return in the future. In fact, we enjoyed our stay so much that we have already recommended this resort to our friends, who will be visiting next month. Overall, we highly recommend this resort for its outstanding service, cleanliness, delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and exceptional staff"

"This is my third time in this hotel, nice resort, Wonderful staff, good food and drinks, beautiful beach, the entertainment team needs to improve and vary activities. The only thing I don’t like about this hotel is the way the bathroom and shower were designed they lack privacy. I would definitely come back again."

"This was our second stay at Sandos, probably our last unless things improve some. The employees are amazing first off. They work so hard and everyone always has a great attitude. The property itself is really getting run down and needs some work. Several of the restaurants were closed probably because the resort was almost empty. And I normally don’t ever use the room service but it was supposed to be included and one day I had a really nasty stomach and would have liked to use it. Of course the seaweed was awful which is no fault of the hotel they worked tirelessly trying to keep it clean but it was just impossible with the amount they came in daily. I also know there were a few people at the adult pool who were pretty irritated at the activities staff on a day or two. It seemed like there were locals who may have been friends of the staff who had come to the adult pool area and during the activities for those days the staff really was only paying attention to their friends and leaving others out. To the point that a few of the vacationers were actually yelling “are you going to include us” or “let us play” etc. hopefully mgmt can get that handled."

"Beautiful jungle hotel! Fernando is an excellent host along with attentive staff members. Food is excellent and location is easy to get to. The rooms are comfortable and detailed with perfect lighting. The living room and bedroom each has its own mini split AC. Bar on site as well. Very clean and safe! True gem to get away from it all."
