"I had a decent stay overall. The location is excellent and very convenient, which was definitely a highlight. The room itself was cute, comfortable, and a nice place to relax after a long day. That said, the overall hotel experience was just okay. Service was average — not bad, but not particularly warm or attentive. At one point, a tray and trash were left outside my room for nearly a full day, which wasn’t ideal. The front desk staff were fine, just not especially friendly. Room service was also average, probably around a 3 out of 5. If the price is right, I would consider staying here again because it was comfortable and the location is great. However, it’s definitely not a 5-star experience."

"Has changed since my last stay, it now has different owners. Self check in and out is now in place and whilst it works there’s no substitute for real reception. Room was clean as normal, along with the hotel on general. You no longer get tea/coffee making facilities in your room, which is a shame, especially as it was still listed as being provided when I booked and paid for my stay. Breakfast used to be a buffet, but now you have a choice of a buffet or à la carte. The à la carte I think is an improvement on the buffet breakfast you used to get. I didn’t try the buffet this stay, so can’t comment on how it compares. Luggage storage is still provided for guests, but is now charged at £10 an item where I never had to pay before. Whilst there has been changes made since my previous stay, I assume to bring it in line with the new owners other hotels and reduce running costs, the hotel remains a good place to stay if you’re planning on a city break in London. Ideally placed for a lot of the theatres and Oxford St shopping. I will be back again."

"We arrived a few hours before check-in to drop our bags and the lady that received us was lovely and attentive. Upon coming back we had asked for our bags and were told they’d be brought to the room but after a couple hours of rest no one came up, we dialed reception and they said they didnt know anything and to come down. Unfortunately our bags were just sitting there in the lobby for who knows how long, although I think it was a misunderstanding since there were a few things going on at the time with another guest needing help in a different language and staff was trying to help her. In any case our bags were fine and we had a great stay. The room was always clean and it was close to public transportation making it easy for us to arrive at our desired destinations. We did not opt for the breakfast package but did have a few things from the bar and it was a wonderful experience. Thank you!"
