"I arrived here with my twin 10 year old children, traveling as a single mom. We stayed for a week. The staff was so kind and accommodating and we were VERY demanding. Our local seat of power, Frederiksberg City Hall. Construction on the building started at the height of World War 2, but wasn't finished until 1953 because, well, because World War 2.

A "fun fact" about the city hall, is that in its sublevels there is an emergency command bunker. You might think that such a place has never been used in a peaceful place like this, but it was activated last in 1986 during the Chernobyl disaster. It was also in active use for the Cuban Missile Crisis 24 years earlier.
