"My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. "

"Instead of driving home late we wanted a place to stay after going to the theater in Hilo. Dolphin Bay Hotel was perfect. Within walking distance to the theater, shops and restaurants made it a very convenient option. Our room and the entire area is very clean. Our room was airy and comfortable. Our host even upgraded at no extra charge. There was a complete kitchen and the shower and bath tub were great. "We were looking at the Waipio Valley cliffs and ocean right in the bed! The view is better than the Outlook site which is half mile away. The scene is changing all the time, sunshine, hovering clouds, overcast, rain, and rainbow of all kinds, like one coming right out of the valley half mile away while the orchard is sunny and the cliffs under overcast.
