"My husband and I spent 3 nights at this beautiful place. It was spacious, had everything you need for a comfy stay. Being able to take a dip in the pool and relax after a full day of beaching and hiking was lovely. Communication with Hannah was great! Lorraine (Hannah’s mom) was absolutely the best. She greeted us warmly when we arrived. Made us feel right at home. Checked in throughout our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. "

"The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. We used the outdoor grill twice and it worked beautifully. The refrigerator had plenty of room. The dining areas were wonderful. We ate on the porch overlooking the ocean, unless the breeze was a littletoo strong. Then we ate at the indoor dining area. The gardens were beautiful around the house and the driveway was very easy to park in. We didn’t need to use the air conditioner six out of seven days due to the wonderful breeze and perfect temperatures. The beds were very comfortable. "

"If you seek a lush, peaceful getaway for two, this place is for you. Conveniently located just outside of Coral Bay, New Moon cottage is a clean and comfortable gem. The wraparound decks provide a gorgeous view of CB and endless bird and iguana watching entertainment. We were close to all north shore beaches and Coral Bay restaurants and shops. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We will definitely return. "

"Mr. Charlie’s studio apartment in Coral Bay truly has some of the most breathtaking views. Sitting on the balcony each morning and taking it all in was easily one of my favorite parts of the trip. The ocean breeze and ceiling fans kept the space comfortable, and we never felt like we needed A/C.The property itself was very clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed—from appliances to cookware—making it easy to prepare meals and feel at home. The location is also great, with Skinny Legs and Dockside Dinghy both within walking distance. Skinny Legs is right by the water with great food and drinks, and Dockside Dinghy is a must-do if you’re comfortable operating a boat.One thing I would definitely recommend is booking a rental car well in advance. We weren’t able to find one anywhere on the island during our stay, so we relied on taxis and occasional rides. While that’s very common in St. John and everyone we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, the property does sit at the top of a very steep hill with sharp curves, which made some taxi drivers hesitant to go all the way up.We also experienced a full island-wide power outage during our last two nights, which meant no hot water, fans, or ability to charge our phones. While this was completely out of the owner’s control, it did impact the end of our stay. That said, Mr. Charlie was very kind and refunded us for those nights, which we truly appreciated.Overall, we would highly recommend. "

"We absolutely loved our stay! It was so hard to leave. The pool was lovely and enjoyed by our 3 kids and the views were simply amazing - we saw so many rainbows! Everything was exactly as described and shown in the photos. One thing I never even considered when booking was a generator, and luckily this property had one because we experienced multiple power outages during the week, one lasting over 40 hours. However, we didn't even notice because the generator did such an amazing job. The breezes through the house are amazing and we hardly ran the air conditioners in the bedrooms. Paul was also very helpful with tips and tricks for the island. My family of 5 will definitely be back. "

"We stayed at Bambooshay for 2 weeks in Feb/March 2026 and had the most amazing time. This homeIs perfect for a couple or a small family, or perhaps 2 couples, looking for a comfortable home, convenient to all that Coral Bay has to offer. We loved the convenience of one floor and the AC in the bedrooms, although we hardly used it as the home is perfectly situated to take advantage of cross island breezes. We also loved the book we found on the history of Bambooshay, and the story of the family’s rebuild after Irma. This home is perfection. The only feedback I have for the hosts would be to stock some foam type pillows for those of us that prefer a stiffer pillow. If that’s my only feedback, I think we’re doing pretty good. Amazing stay, thanks so much! "
